Accipio Twilight – Full-year and Booster courses for GCSE preparation

Accipio Learning’s Twilight courses are designed for pupils who require additional support to reach their potential in end of year GCSE exams in English and Maths.  Twilight lessons are taught by Accipio’s subject-specialist teachers and, in addition to the fully-interactive online lessons, pupils have access to extension activities and the Accipio Library of pre-recorded lessons to support their learning.

Accipio Twilight can be accessed either on a full academic year basis or as a short booster course.

The new Twilight courses start in September 2010. The September Booster course is for students who are aiming at November re-sits or early entry GCSE exams and these courses provide two lessons per subject per week over a six-week period in English and/or Maths. The full-year courses provide pupils with one lesson of live teaching in English and/or Maths each week.

Twilight lessons take place at the end of the regular school day (between 3.10 p.m. and 5.45 P.M.) and each lesson lasts up to 45 minutes.

Pupils can attend Accipio Twilight lessons from home or school, so they are ideal for schools in National Challenge and extended schools projects. Specifically designed to support grade boosting initiatives for borderline D to C grade pupils, Accipio Twilight can be tailored to meet the needs of any school in England and Wales.
