Secondary Schools

Accipio Learning works with secondary schools around the country to provide flexible education programmes both outside and inside the mainstream classroom.

Accipio’s online classroom offers live teaching over the internet for students at risk of exclusion or on fixed-term exclusions.  Our live lessons provide a secure environment where a student can continue to learn and where they interact with teachers and other Accipio students until they return to the mainstream classroom.

Accipio can also offer schools the Accipio Library of pre-recorded lessons.  The Library is an easy way to provide excluded students with instant access to lessons during their exclusion and for other students it can provide flexible support to assist with homework, coursework and exam revision.  The Library is also used in the mainstream classroom when a subject-specialist teacher is not available.

Schools can also benefit from Accipio’s Express GCSE courses.  These begin in January and are aimed at Year 11 students whose education has been interrupted through illness or exclusion and who have limited time to prepare for their GCSE exams.
