Accipio Learning has a great deal of experience in working with Looked-after Children and understands the challenges they face. In many cases, learning with the Accipio School has been the one aspect of their life that provides consistency and continuity, both through the teachers they work with and through their fellow students in class.

The Accipio School can be attended from anywhere in the country, allowing students in care to continue their learning uninterrupted even if they are moved between placements in or out of borough.   Accipio lessons can be delivered to foster or residential placements, within school or at any learning centre with broadband connectivity. 

Accipio’s courses provide interim provision, core curriculum subjects, numeracy and literacy and life skills qualifications.  The Accipio Classroom is a safe, secure and friendly learning environment for all of our students that is often a stepping stone back into a mainstream school environment.
