Clearing the cache (temporary internet files) in Internet Explorer 6.

In Internet Explorer click on the Tools Menu

The bottom item in the menu should be “Internet Options”, click on it.

Click on the “Delete Files” button in the middle of the window.

When this window appears click OK. You can put a tick in the box if you want to, but it won’t affect what it needs to do for the classroom.

Leave the mouse pointer over the Internet Options window. If the pointer shows as an egg timer the computer is still clearing the cache. Once it goes back to the arrow pointer you can click OK to close the window.

Now close Internet Explorer and restart it to finish the process.
