We know that the best way for people to experience Accipio’s online teaching is to let them see a live lesson in action.

Which is why we’ve decided to turn our stand at BETT 2008 into an extension of the Accipio School.

Each day, visitors to the stand will be able to see our teachers in action, teaching real lessons from the stand via the internet to our students throughout the UK. Visitors will see how Accipio delivers the most cost-effective form of alternative provision to EOTAS students and experience how online learning can transform the education and lives of students outside the mainstream classroom.

There will be up to 4 live lessons each day plus some additional “Masterclass” sessions where our Head Teacher will be taking the audience on a tour of the Accipio School and dropping in to lessons as they happen.

Each day we will also be holding a half-hour seminar titled “Alternative Provision – Successful Outcomes from E-schooling” where a local authority partner will be sharing how e-learning and Accipio have helped them improve outcomes for their EOTAS students.

We will only be able to accommodate a limited number of visitors for each live teaching and seminar session, so we are inviting you to pre-register.  To do so, take a look at the timetable of live sessions and then complete the registration form below or send us an email to BETT2008@accipio-learning.com giving us your contact details and your preferred day and session time.  Please feel free to invite your local authority or school colleagues, but please make sure they all pre-register to avoid disappointment.

We will also be running a prize draw each day where one person can win an Accipio Library license worth £8,000 for their school or local authority, so there’s even more reason to pay us a visit.

We will confirm visitors’ places by email and send an e-ticket which should be presented at Stand T29 at least 5 minutes before the live lesson or seminar.  The ticket will also enter you into the Accipio Library competition.  For more information on the Accipio Library, follow the menu link above.
